FULL SYNOPSIS

AVAILABLE FOR SALE SOON! For thousands of children in India, side streets and train stations are the places they call home. However, one Salesian priest in the city of Vijayawada has made it his mission to get them off the streets and into schools. India: A New Life, winner of three Telly awards, showcases Father Thomas Koshys successful program and provides a raw look at the children desperate for his help. Using an innovative approach to draw them into Navajeevan Bala Bhavan, Father Koshy employs former street kids as part of the rehabilitation process. Through outreach and mentoring programs, these children become positive role models for a life beyond the streets. PBS Frontline World commissioned production of this film.
