The Center for International Education (The CIE) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)3 media arts micro-organization. We make poetic media with people of all ages from all over the world for everyone. A unique shape-shifting organization since 1972, The CIE likes to say it is a corporation as a work of art in progress.
Support for our mission is roughly divided in three equal parts: earned income from artist residencies in the schools and museums; earned income from sales of videos; and private donations and public grants for productions of new programs.
